Stonhard offers various floor system for industrial application such as epoxy self-leveling, troweled epoxy mortar, PU cement leveling, and troweled PU mortar. What sets us apart from other floor suppliers is the flooring solutions that not only fit with customer’s needs but also low maintenance and focus on the long term benefits.
Because installation is as important as the quality of the product, 949 Supplies’ installation crews are well trained to evaluate the substrate and deal with flooring problems properly. Materials are mixed and installed according to the procedures from the manufacturers. Our installation crews are skilled labor and are employed as full time employee of the company. So our customers can be sure we have full control of our installation to always maintain high standards.
Stonhard also has various complementary products to deal with most floor substrate problems before the epoxy and PU floor overlayment to prevent problems that may happen from poor substrate.
The flooring system you require depends on the environment you are dealing with and the performance features you desire. 949 Supplies, an exclusive affiliate of Stonhard, are specially trained to evaluate your specific needs, covering all aspects of cost-effectiveness, durability, safety standards and overall performance. We would recommend the right Stonhard solution for your flooring needs.
Both PU and epoxy floors help to improve facility’s cleanability and aestheticity. Epoxy and PU floors are made up from different chemicals. So they resist to different chemicals and different range of thermal shock. Epoxy and PU floor also differ in flexibility and hardness. Besides the chemistry that give the floors different properties, the difference in the installation method also give the floor different physical properties and different maintenance.
70 per cent of the floor problems are caused by poor installation, poor evaluation of substrate and skip fixing the problem on the substrate properly before the overlayment. Examples of problems are excessive moisture from the ground, lack of good cleaning procedures before the overlayment, and poor substrate preparation. All these are the common cause for epoxy and PU floor to fail after few month of installation.
For the floor that is slippery from water, choosing matte surface finish would help to solve slippery problem. For the floor that is covered by oil or fat, we would recommend the floor system with slightly rough texture surface that would give the shoes a good grip. However, with slip resistant flooring, appropriate cleaning procedure would need to be introduced.
Stonhard in the USA formulates and manufactures the materials. The unique capability of synthesizing its own polymer systems allows it to carefully control and tailor the properties of each product to meet the specific needs of the customers. This integrated approach gives an advantage in technology and quality that no one can match. Stonhard has developed hundreds of resin and curing agent combinations, all delivering unique finished properties.
In Thailand, the materials are imported and distributed by 949 Supplies Co., Ltd, who is the licensed distributor of Stonhard since 1994
When comparing test data, it is very important to know what test methods are used to derive the values, the specimens used, and how the results of the test are reported. Stonhard follows the testing procedures administered by the American Society for Testing and Materials. ASTM is an international technical, scientific and educational organization dedicated to the standardization of specifications and methods testing. In the test an actual representation of the floor is used as a test specimen, which consists of the resin and curing agent as well as the aggregate material. This specimen is then tested in our state-of-the-art physical testing laboratory.
We want to be sure that the product you purchased is, in fact, the product being installed. All Stonhard materials are factory formulated, pre-weighed and packaged utilizing the latest process technology. Also, let the company you’re dealing with know that you wish to review coverage information, amounts used, etc. If you buy a 1/4″ floor, make sure you get a 1/4″ floor! If you still aren’t 100% satisfied that you got what you paid for, ask to have a core sample taken so you can see the finished thickness.
With Stonhard materials, you don’t need to worry about the safety of your plant environment. Stonhard specializes in high solids systems, which mean toxic or flammable fumes won’t be a problem during the mixing and installation process. Our installers are certified and strictly adhere to all safety procedures. In addition, all Stonhard products come with explicit instructions, Material Safety Data Sheets and clearly labeled packaging.
Stonhard offers innovative products to help you achieve LEED certification points in “Materials & Resources” as well as “Indoor Environmental Quality” categories. Please contact our sales representative for more information.
Stonhard gives customer a written warranty covering both materials and workmanship. In Thailand, 949 Supplies installs Stonhard floor as well as giving the warranty that covers both material and workmanship.
In the unlikely event that something should go wrong with your floor system, you can always count on us to help you with any situation. 949 Supplies imports, sell and installs Stonhard floor system in Thailand. We take full responsibility of the product and installations under technical and material support from Stonhard USA.
Fibergrate is a global manufacturer of fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) products for industrial and commercial use. High performance FRP products produced by Fibergrate include gratings (mold and pultrude), ladders, handrail and structures. Fibergrate FRP products are safe and produced to meet American and international standards for various industries such as-
- Association of American Railroads (AAR)
- American Bureau of Shipping (ABS)
- Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA)
- DNV Certificate
- ISO 9001:2008
- NSF Standard 61
- United States Coast Guard
- USDA Accepted
Fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) products are made of resin reinforced with fiberglass. The resin to glass ratio by is 70% to 30% by weight for molded FRP gratings, and 30% to 70% for pultruded gratings and pultruded structures.
FRP Products has very high strength comparing to their weight. Unlike traditional metal gratings and structures, FRP products are corrosion resistance and low maintenance. There’s no need for sandblasting, scraping and painting. Installation and frabrication only needs sawing, grinding, drilling and machines similar to working wood. Installation in strict hot work is possible. Other benefits include
- Slip Resistant
- Low Maintenance
- Fire Retardant
- Electrically & Thermally Non Conductive
- Impact Resistant
- Long Service life
The loading capacity of FRP gratings depend on the type and thickness of the gratings, and the span where gratings are placed. Loading capacity of each type of grating is presented in the Load Tables. The loading capacity of Fibergarte FRP gratings were tested according to the standard of Fiberglass Grating Manufacturers Council of the American Composites Manufacturers Association (ACMA).
The chemical resistance of the gratings depend on the type of resin used. Fibergrate offers numerous standard resin systems to address multiple needs. Corvex, the isophthalic polyester resin, is developed for corrosion resistance found in industrial, chemical processing and water/wastewater applications.
FRP products are light in weight which gives it an advantage for fabrication. Fabrication of FRP gratings and FRP products do not require hot work. Only power saw with masonry or diamond blade for cement board products can be used to cut FPR panels to the required shapes. Edges must be seal with appropriate epoxy or urethane sealing products to maintain corrosion resistance property. The panels are secured to structure by stainless steel clips.
